Introducing the Braun Epilator 3270.

braun-3270-epilatorI am stunned you can now get this for just £24.95 on Amazon. For an epilator that is cheap!

A great thing about this epilator for people new to epilating is that it only has 20 tweezers built into it. I hear you “20 tweezers?!” But that is not that many compared to some epilators. What this means is it will pull less hairs out at once, and therefore be a little less painful and more gentle – but it also means it may take you longer. Really though the more you epilate, the finer your hair gets anyway so as time goes on you will have less hair than when you first started.

It has a great new design, an update to previous Braun epilator models. It’s also pink as you can see in the photo above. The perfect colour for a girly beauty product I’m sure you will agree!

It’s powered by being plugged into the mains. The cable is about 2 metres long. I don’t see that as a drawback because even with rechargable epilators, the power doesn’t last all that long and you end up having to plug it in to use it anyway! So at least having to plug it in means you’re not going to run out of power half way through which has happened to me a few times! Nothing is more annoying.

Like all epilators, it’s on the noisy side. The first time you switch one on I think everybody feels a bit intimidated by the racket and the whirring tweezers that look like metal teeth – seriously, the epilator is your friend. Don’t let it intimidate you! It cannot harm you, it just wants to pull hairs out!

It has a shaver attachment. You simply unplug the epilator attachment and stick in the shaver attachment. Personally I’ve never used a shaver attachment with any epilator. I think I will try it out soon.  This is just because I prefer to epilate and know the hair is gone for weeks rather than days. But the shaver is there if you need it.

The shaver head also has something called an “optitrim” attachment, for the bikini line. That’s useful for just snipping hair a bit shorter. You also get a carry case to keep all the bits and bobs that come with it in. Safe and secure.

I’m not sure how this works but it has a “soft lift system” which basically means it can lift really short hairs and flat lying hairs and pull those out too.

For newbies to epilating it has a “active massaging rollers”. This is basically an attachment you add on (very simple to do) that massages the skin just before the epilator hits the hair, and therefore it helps stop any discomfort. It’s like the hair has a little massage and it helps come out easier. These rollers can  be a bit tickley!

Overall I cannot fault this epilator. It does what it should do, it’s quick, effective, a good size and well-built.

So why choose this particular epilator?

  • Cheap
  • Good for newbies
  • Fewer tweezers
  • The massaging rollers
  • It’s effective, reliable and does the job

I want one now where can I get it? Here!
